Ford Mustang 1964 entered into the October 31st Classic Car Auction.

“1964½ – very early example of this iconic car”
Dubbed by Mustang fans as the 1964½, this is a very early example of the iconic car. Sporting the all important ‘D’ engine code signifying an early 289 ci V8 engine that produced 210BHP, this Mustang was sold in Worcester Massachusetts in July 1964 to a Mona Howe who kept the car till 1986. The car then passed to Ruth Aaron of Georgia before it was exported to Ireland in 2005 where it is currently registered. The original bill of sale details the specification as follows: Wimbledon White paintwork, Cruise O Matic, WSW tires, power steering and brakes, am radio, airconditioning, back up lights, outside mirror, padded sunvisors, uprated wheel covers, electric wipers & washers, deluxe belts and tinted glass and of course the 289 4V V8 engine.
Presents in largely original condition throughout though has had a Holley carburettor fitted. Has been recently recomissioned and new tyres are fitted. History file contains original owner’s manual, bill of sale, build sheet, cancelled cheque used for purchase, Ford Registered Owner card, old certificate of title, 20 old owner’s certificates of registration, heater instruction card and shipping receipt amongst others.
