Morris Mini Minor 1960.
This is a very early Mini with straight gear stick and starter button on floor. It is in beautiful condition with very clean original interior and the history file is magnificent. There is the heritage certificate, photographs of restoration, original logbook, old tax discs, original handbook, old MOTS going back as far as 1971 and loads of invoices. UKE147 was purchased by its second owners on 12th December 1971 for £57.50 (invoice inclosed) and was owned by them for 43 years until they sold it in 2014. At that time of purchase in 1971 car had covered approximated 67,000 miles. It was originally used as an everyday car until the owners went abroad in late 1973. It was then dry stored in a friends barn for the next 12 years. During 1985.6 the car was restored with a new interior and re painted (photographic record included). Only minor mechanical work was undertaken . The engine and gearbox were not touched. However another series of overseas postings meant that the car was not put back onto the road until 1992, hence the present mileage of 87,000.
