This is the one to have. Series 1 SWB chassis No 11701017. When I viewed this timeless piece of British Motoring History, I was very impressed. She stands straight, panels all fit correctly. Excellent canvas roof and good interior. The seats have been re-trimmed. There is a vast history file from ’92 onwards. Photo record of chassis and body rebuild. The engine was overhauled at about the same time. The brakes have just been overhauled including a new master cylinder and 4 new wheel cylinders. There is a good 1 – 2 hours reading in this history file. She also comes with old MOT’s and tax discs from that time. Now the technical side. She has the correct engine 2 ½ lit. 4 cylinder petrol. She has the added advantage of overdrive and free-wheeling hubs, and if you get stuck off-roading – a Capstain winch. The tires are as new, please come and view her, you will be very impressed.
