Description:In Brief:
On the Surface: This stunning 1995 Aston Martin DB7 Coupe, originally supplied by Grange Aston Martin of Brentwood in August 1995, is one of only 2,473 I6 DB7s produced. Finished in the quintessential British Racing Green, the exterior is beautifully complemented by a luxurious Parchment (cream) leather interior, featuring Forest (green) piping. The cabin showcases classic Aston Martin craftsmanship with burr walnut veneers, green carpets and a Parchment Alcantara headlining. This particular DB7 is also equipped with an attractive private registration number, ‘L7DBV’. Maintenance & History: This example comes with an impressive history file, meticulously maintained over the years, with receipts for parts, labour, and servicing amounting to a near £40,000! The records include MOT certificates, invoices, and previous V5 registration documents from its former keepers. The original Aston Martin ‘Performance Driving’ brochure (complete with DVD), a ‘Colour and Trim’ brochure, and the original DB7 ‘Owner’s Guide’ are all included. The ‘Owner’s Guide’ also contains the service records for the car, featuring 15 stamps between 1995 at 1,485 miles and 2006 at 46,280 miles. Of these, 11 services were carried out by Aston Martin main dealers, 1 by a specialist, and 3 by general garages. The service and mot history warrants the car’s current low mileage of 76,922 miles. Owned by the current vendor for the past few years, this car has benefitted from lavish spending under all of it’s custodians. The Model: Aston Martin produced the DB7 from September 1994 to December 2004, positioning it as an ‘entry-level’ model beneath the V8 Virage. The DB7, with over 7,000 units built, became the most-produced Aston Martin of its time and marked a significant milestone for the brand, benefiting from resources and backing from Jaguar Cars and Ford Motor Company. The DB7 was a pivotal model as it turned the fortunes of Aston Martin around through being a thoroughly modern and well made car that opened a new chapter in the marques famous history. The world hasn’t forgotten the DB7 3 decades after its launch, and it probably won’t for a very long time. Sale Insight: This early DB7 represents a remarkable opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts. The combination of low production numbers, meticulous care, and features such as the private registration number ‘L7DBV’ makes this example particularly attractive. Given its well-documented service history and high investment in upkeep, this DB7 is not only a beautiful vehicle but also a sound investment. |
