Description:Description from The Vendor: This is an excellent example of an Aston Martin DB7 (3.2) Coupe in Cheviot Red. This car has had a lot of upgrades over it’s lifetime. The present owner is a retired mechanic who has owned the car for the last 10 years and has covered just under a thousand miles during his ownership. With his love of classic cars (mainly classic Jaguar’s) he has cherished and maintained the car and has kept it in a dry heated garage. Due to his age and lack of use he has now reluctantly decided to sell the car. It comes with the original DB7 owners guide which includes stamped Aston Martin service history up to 54,958 miles with the car being serviced and looked after by the current owner for the last 10 years. Included in the history file are a number of MOT certificates plus lost of invoices and receipts mainly from the previous owner who spent a large sum of money on upgrades to the car – these include; a modified and lightned flywheel and clutch (To allow gears to be changed easier), AP Racing brakes, alloy wheels, front grille, wooden steering wheel and gearknob, push button engine start and a sports exhaust – there are more things that have not been mentioned but can be found in the invoices. The bodywork is in excellent condition considering the car’s age with no visible dents, dings, or scratches, this keeps in line with the underneath of the car and interior which is also in very good condition. Included is also an Aston Martin car cover. The car is an absolute dream to drive.
Auctioneer’s notes: This is truly a magnificent example of a ’96 Aston Martin DB7 Coupe. She was supplied new by Aston Martin Lagonda from Newport Pagnell and has had 6 owners from new, including the vendor who has owned her for the last 10 years. In the comprehensive file is a superb leather-bound book covering all aspects of the car including the service record, 13 stamps, nearly all the old MOT’s plus Gov. MOT history. Incidentally since 2011 she has only covered 973 miles, but she has had in that time 6 oil and 3 filter changes and to finish, there is an invoice file from 2002. These fine cars cost over £78,000 in 1996 and I am told they produce in excess of 300 BHP. This car is truly stunning, please look at our online video and, hopefully, you will agree with me. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
