Description:Description from The Vendor: This is a very sought-after and very rare DB9 Volante, with only very few having the six-speed manual gearbox. At 17,000 miles the entire engine was replaced due to an unspecified fault, however, I have had no problems since. The car has a FULL service history with servicing being done by Davron Aston Martin, who are an independent specialist after the warranty had expired. A new clutch was fitted at 37,000, with coil packs and plugs being changed at 49,000. Being the car’s only owner from new I am disappointed to be parting ways with her due to me emigrating, however, Davron Aston Martin of Dinton, Salisbury will vouch to any future owner that this is the best DB9 driving experience they have serviced.
Auctioneer’s notes: This car is in fantastic condition, it is entered by the one private owner from new. The car was supplied by Harwoods of Chichester. In the file, you will find all the invoices for its annual service and the Owners Handbook which contains the service history which has 15 stamps all carried out by either Harwoods or Davron of Salisbury, Aston Martin Specialists. The last service was completed on 15.12.21. For the technically minded, the engine is 6 lits V12 48V producing 450 BHP and this is very rare, she has a 6 SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX. She is capable of getting 0 – 62 in 4.9 seconds and where allowed she has a top speed of 165 miles per hour. She is a DRIVER’S CAR and she makes the most beautiful sound. I cannot overemphasise how good this car is and how rare it is to have 1 owner from new and she has only covered 50,000 miles from new. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
