Description:AUSTIN 7 – BIG SEVEN – 1939 – To be auctioned Friday 28th October 2016 The vendor has owned this excellent example of a Big 7 since August 2007. She comes with the old green log book and old MOT certificates date as far back as 1967 of which there are 7 in total, 9 old tax discs, some invoices and hand books, there is also a spare parts book and 4 original Austin spanners. The spares box aslo includes bulbs and fuses. It also include the original hand book which cost 1 shilling, there is also the Austin Seven Companion of which there were 136 issued by the Seven Fifty Motor Club. Only 275 of these models remain in the world. Auctioneers Notes This car has a lovely patine, the interior has all the original leather and it is worth noting that the seats are pneumatic and they have had new infaltion bags. It also has a sunshine roof which we are told is water proof. I can only finish by saying that this is a great little car. Estimated sale price – £3,500 to £4,000 |
