This 1937 Austin 7 Opal comes with the original buff log book registered to a Mr. R. Hardy of Belton, Leicestershire on the 20/04/1937. There is several buff log books and V5 docs. The last family had this car for over 50 years and it has been off the road for 10/15 years, it has the original engine M270183. The vendor tells us the car is in good overal condition, it is up and running, but will need a good check over before using on the road and the clutch will need attention in the near future.

Auctioneers Notes: I have never seen so many buff log books, 3 in total, including the original one dated 20.4.37 another one dated April ’41 which is covered in petroleum department stamps, dated from 1941 – 1944 and the last one was issued in January ’59. She even has old MOT’s from 1961 – 1974 and we have the old V5’s and V5C (W) She carries the original registration number FP3180 plus the original spare parts book “printed in England October ’37” and the drivers handbook printed in April ’37 plus other useful reference books which will keep you reading for hours in the dark winter evenings.
