Description:Description from The Vendor: The car has 7 previous keepers and I have owned the car for 28 years since July 1994. It was recently recommissioned in February this year and it is also advisory free on the recent MOT. Prior to the recommissioning, it was restored in May 2005. During the recommissioning, the car was given 4 new tyres, new headlamps, new ignition components and a new battery.
Auctioneer’s notes: This is a fantastic example of the Mark III Sprite. The restoration was carried out in 2005 and she still looks fresh, and what providence this car has! The owner has been the custodian for 28 years. In the file you will find invoices, Gov.MOT history and, most importantly, images of the restoration. The Midgets have 46 BHP on tap and giving a top speed of 88 MPH and they will return approx. 40 MPG if you do not nail your foot to the floor. She may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
