Description:

This Austin Mini was purchased when it was a year old by the vendor in 1966 and used daily to travel to work and for pleasure until 1983, it was then taken off the road and garaged. The recorded mileage in February 1983 was 38,162, the next MOT was 28 years later on 10th April 2011 and the mileage was 38,249. The last MOT was on 20th June 2016 at 38,287.
The vehicle had a 1275cc engine fitted in around June 1970 along with twin carbs, disc brakes on the front and sports steering wheel c/w steering wheel column lock in June 1970. The original 848 engine block with the appropriate number stamped on it is included in the sale. Two new front wings, front valance and over sills, offside and nearside have been fitted, the subframe and rest of the car is as it left the factory.
Included in the file is images of the vehicle during ownership, parts receipts, old MOTs and drivers handbook. The vendor states all maintenance and repairs have been carried out by themselves.
