On the Surface: This lovely example of a 1961 Austin Mini Seven is finished in the classic Tartan Red and sits on stylish 10″ Minilite wheels. The original steel wheels and some other trim pieces are included and can be found in the boot. This home-market, matching numbers, right-hand drive example has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years. The car is in good condition both inside and out, and the vendor assures us that the underside of the car is also maintained to a high standard. Maintenance & History: In the history file an original Austin Seven workshop manual, a Morris Mini-Minor Driver’s Handbook, an Austin Seven and Morris Mini-Minor book and finally the BMIHT heritage certificate. The heritage certifcate proves it as a home market matching numbers example. Additionally, the heriatge certifcate also details that the car was originally sold by Maskells Limited of Brixton in 1961 and the car came with a factory fitted heater. The Model: The Mini, a small, two-door, four-seat car, was produced by BMC and its successors from 1959 until 2000.
