The Model: Now you may be thinking; ‘What is an Austin Seven Special?’ well a “special” is a car built for a specific use, either entirely to a custom design, or by combining the essential parts of a number of makes. The reason for building it is to make a car with better performance than anything that could be bought buy ready-made.

The Austin 7, produced from 1922 through to 1939 and affectionately nicknamed the ‘Baby Austin’, is one of the most popular cars ever made. It was instrumental in wiping out most other British small cars and cycle cars of the early 1920s, much like the Ford Model T did in the U.S.

Sale Insight: The Vendor has thoroughly enjoyed owning this charming example of an Austin Seven Special but has decided it’s time for it to find a new home.
