Description:This Austin Seven Van was purchased by the vendor on 23rd January 2015 in Blackpool. The replica body and woodwork had been fitted by the then owner who had unfortunately passed away leaving the project unfinished. The vendor then set about finishing the project and work included: New wiring loom, new headlights, completely rebuilt engine, wheels rebuilt by James Weldon, complete set of new tyres, restored radiator, steering box replaced, brakes relined, new brake cables, new clutch cable, suspension problems resolved and SU carburetor fitted. Auctioneers notes: This gem of an Austin 7 Van must be nearly as good now as she was when she left the factory 81 years ago. |
