Description:

In Brief:

  • Honest example of an Austin A35 saloon
  • Room for TLC and improvements
  • Finished in Cream over a Blue interior
  • Runs, drives and stops

On the Surface: This 1958 Austin A35 presents as an honest example, finished in a classic Cream exterior complemented by a Blue interior. While it could benefit from some TLC and minor improvements, it does seem to be an original example.

Maintenance & History: Unfortunately, this little A35 does not come with any accompanying history. There is room for the next owner to touch up or recommissiong this A35 to their desired level

The Model: The Austin A35 was introduced in 1956 as a successor to the popular A30. Featuring a 34 hp A-Series inline-four engine, it offered improved performance with better acceleration and a higher top speed. The A35 retained much of the A30’s design but introduced subtle refinements, including a larger rear window and a painted front grille with a chrome horse-shoe surround. A total of 280,897 A35s of all types were produced during its run.

Sale Insight: This 1958 Austin A35 provides an opportunity to own a honest example of a 50’s and 60’s British family saloon.
