Description:Description from The Vendor: I bought the car in late 2011 Previous to my purchase the car had been on loan to the BBC for the program Top Gear where Richard Hammond had identified it as a good value classic to purchase. It has only been used by myself as a 2nd car. Used only on special occasions and holidays. When I lived in Bristol the car was always garaged and I did all the routine service and mechanical repairs myself. I moved from Bristol to Poole 3 years ago and left the car garaged in Bristol, I currently have no facilities or garage to store the car in Poole so I have decided to sell the car. I have had the car overhauled and MOT’d hence the last bill in the file for £4,102 and record of repairs. Previous to my move I fitted a new radiator, new vacuum pipes and new plugs. The bodywork on the car does need some TLC, particularly on the offside rear wheel arch where some rusting has formed.
Auctioneer’s notes: The vendor has owned this car for 11 years and has maintained it as a Bentley should, see appendix 1 to view the last invoice for £4102.- I think that this car is priced to sell and represents good value for money. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
