Description:This BMW was purchased by the vendor’s late husband in 1989 and it had not covered many miles. The vehicle does run however will need commissioning to put it back on the road. Auctioneers Notes: There is a very comprehensive invoice file covering the period when the deceased owner purchased this car for £4,600 in September 1989, that invoice is included. The mileage in 1989 was 14,119. It also has a fairly comprehensive MOT history file from 1997. The book pack is also included and there are 5 stamps in the service book, last dated January 1987 mileage 9,136. This all adds up, in our opinion that the mileage reading on the speedometer is probably correct, but we cannot warrant it. This little BMW is a very sound base for restoration. |
