This outstanding example of an E30 BMW has only covered 69,400 miles in 37 years. She has had 3 previous owners including the supplying dealers, Woods of Bournemouth. This car has a high spec including a 5 speed gearbox, sunroof, twin fog lights, electric mirrors and power steering. Miss G M Hussell purchased the car on the 26.6.1987 and cherished her until she passed away at the early part of this year. This history file is quite outstanding. The service book has 21 stamps and in the file is the original invoice when the lady bought the car from Woods Bournemouth. Incidentally, she paid £7,750 in 1987. It also includes every invoice from 2004 and you will note, regardless of mileage covered p.a. She had the car serviced and oil changed every year. Mechanically, these cars are a wonderful example of German engineering “the ultimate driving machine” This car has a 1.8 fuel injected engine producing 105 BHP and gives quite a sporty performance. The car was purchased in June by the vendor who sent it immediately to a Mercedes/ BMW Specialist for a service, oil change and the underside was wax oiled. The reason as to why she is back on the market is the vendor’s double garage has 2 classics in it already and the unit he was purchasing has fallen through and he is not inclined to leave such a beautiful car out on the road in the winter. The car is in excellent condition, the interior is all original and generally in good order, except the passenger seat shows a little wear because Miss Hussell allowed her dog to sit next to her!
