1955 Chevrolet 210/ Bel Air 76,000 (Not warranted) £14,040 + buyers premium

Description:

For the 1955 model year, Chevrolet’s passenger car was transformed by a ground-up redesign that offered something that the previous years didn’t- stylish sizzle. The wheelbase and series names, One-Fifty, Two-Ten and Bel Air, were about the only things that were carried over. 1955 brought about big improvements that included better brakes, handling, steering and interior room. Other than the dramatic new styling, the new V8 was probably the most important feature for the 1955 model- the most changed Chevrolet since World War II. With a slick new body and that powerful new engine, Chevrolet advertised the 1955 as “The Hot One”. This model year along with the ’56 and ’57 versions became known as the Tri Five Chevys which today have a cult following and are very sought after.

This is a 2 door post sedan. It has what is believed to be a 350c.i. V8 under the hood mated to TH350 autobox. Power steering and power brakes are featured. This car was purchased by the previous owner in Lake Saranac New York in 1994 whilst he was living there. In 1999 he brought the car with him to Ireland where it is currently registered. All restoration/modification work was carried out prior to 1994 with the exception of a new wiring loom that has just been fitted. Driving well, this is one stunning car that is offered today at a sensible reserve.

The car is currently registered in the Irish Republic. No VAT or duties are due on importation. We will provide NOVA certification and assist with reregistration in UK.
