Description:Description from The Vendor: Imported into the UK on 1/11/14, since then it has had two previous owners from the UK. On the 2nd of November 2015 the car underwent a major restoration (Letter enclosed in history file) by American Auto Club UK. Since then major parts have been replaced this year with a new upgraded roof cover, extensive re-chroming, new door locks, new glove box lock mechanism, new OSR trailing arm, new air filter housing, new rubber engine pipes fitted, flip light motors replaced with new units, alloys polished and headlamps have been replaced. The engine has also recently been serviced in which the plugs and oil were changed.
Auctioneer’s notes: This totally outstanding ’64 Corvette Stingray Convertible C2 came into the UK in 2014 and these cars are known as the Second Generation. This car has a 5.7 lit small block engine giving around 240 BHP and benefits from a 4speed on the floor gear box. In ’64 quite a number of upgrades were carried out on this model, for instance, the suspension all round was upgraded etc. This car really is something, she is quite beautiful and she may be viewed strictly by appointment. |
