Description:Description from The Vendor: This is a 1959 RHD Citroen 2 CV ‘Ripple’ built in Belgium. The chassis and suspension are in an ‘as new’ condition. All 5 wheels and tyres have been replaced and are brand new. Historic vehicle, so no MOT or Road Tax required. Bodywork was re-painted but small dents were retained to show authenticity for age. The car is 63 years old and has the original Ripple Bonnet design. The design of a car of this age gives a lot of mechanical devices e.g. The windscreen wipers are both operated by hand, or are driven by the speedometer drive cable. The 425cc engine was completely renovated by Sparrow Engineering in Gloucester, all invoices can be found in the file. The workshop manual and other books are included with a number of new spare parts in the car including a new rear mudguard.
Auctioneer’s notes: This is a very unique 2CV Ripple, she is RHD imported into this country on 22.4.70. The interior is good, the seats just unclip if you want to go and have a picnic.
