Description:Auctioneer’s Notes: Owned by The Vendor since early 2017. These wonderful F.W.D. were made famous by Erik Carlsson who won the Monte Carlo Rally a number of times and he invented the left foot braking. These car were manufactured for 20 years, to start with they had a 3 pot 2 stroke engine and later they were powered by the Ford Taunus 4 pot V 4 1.5 lit engine. This car has been well looked after and comes with a DVLA Owners History and, importantly, an extract from the V4 Register (Saab Owners Club) featuring this very car. The records show that the gear box was changed in 1986 and the engine was changed in 2012. There are also letters to and from previous owners. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
