It has been dry stored since 1996 and although some recommissioning work has been carried out to get it running this car would make a good restoration project. Auctioneers notes: This car deserves to be restored although you could use her as is, if you wish. The leather and carpets look original and in good order. Perhaps the body could do with some TLC. May I emphasize, she is not a rust bucket. Some people say, and I am one of them, that the V8 250 is arguably a better driving car, lighter engine which gives better handling compared to the Mark II 240 and the trim level of the V8250 is far superior to the Jaguar.
