This vehicle is 1 entered from a collection of 14 cars entered into the auction from a private collector.
This car was purchased by the current owner for his extensive collection of vehicles and this 1968 model with a believed genuine mileage of 49,221 is absolutely immaculate. The 4.2ltr engine and bay are a sight to be seen, as it is a show piece of British engineering at its best. The body and paintwork of British Racing Green is immaculate. It has sumptuous red leather seats and carpets to match, also an amazing beautiful condition dash that is a mirror finish. The car as a whole has been very well looked after and is a stunning example of this, sort after and comfortable Jaguar. The automatic box is smooth and is a pleasure to drive, the car starts on the button as to be expected. It has all the usual refinements you would expect from a car of this quality, with beautiful wire wheels that really set off the car to its best. There is photographic evidence of a full back to basics renovation. This model was the forerunner to the XJ6, but had many similarities to the S Type, which was only produced for a short period of time. This car has benefited from a full service and is probably the best on the market, so get yourself one hell of a car. Just look at the car as it says it all.
