This car was purchased by the current owner for his extensive collection of vehicles and is very rare to come across one of these in such immaculate condition as this one.

This particular car was in its previous life a funeral car being painted black for the purpose, but the current owner decided to use it as a distinguished carriage to and from special events. It was painted silver to enhance the beautiful lines this car has and its immaculate grey interior with perfect wood dash give it style and standing.

This State Limousine as it was known will waft you along like being on air, as it was based on the MK 10 floor pan and running gear. Its 88,420 miles believed genuine and it probably was never driven much more than 45 to 50 MPH under its previous guise.

The private plate was purchased and put on this vehicle to also enhance its status, as a stylish useable grand carriage. The driver’s compartment is in black, with black carpets and a beautiful highly lacquered wooden dash. Everything works as it should and has the typical layout of these long standing Daimler cars, although this is one of the last to be made, being of 1992 vintage. It starts and runs perfectly after having a full rebuild of the carburettor’s and has been re-tuned to cope with modern petrol. It has a cavernous boot for that airport luggage trip and plenty of room in the passenger compartment to party or celebrate any occasion, with up to six seats if required. The current owner has used this car for many trips to the races and other special occasions. It has needed very little work done to this vehicle as it has been very well maintained over the years, also being in a covered showroom when not in use.
