Description:The vendor has owned this superb Daimler sovereign for 20 years. She is finished Opalescent maroon with red trim with excellent walnut dash board and cappings. The vehicle was acquired by classic car restorer Romsey Restorations in 1986 then sold to a Mr Peter Harris in 1989 who asked Romsey Restorations to complete the following: Strip to bare metal and respray, fit new wire wheels and re-upholster. The vehicle was then sold to Neville Finch in 1993 and transferred ownership to his nephew in 1996. The vehicle has remained in the family since then. Additional work carried out includes cylinder head renewed, carburettors refurbished, stainless steel exhaust fitted, new brake servo and callipers replaced. The vendor states he has only used the vehicle is dry conditions. It is nice to see a Daimler heritage trust certificate, handbooks and service manual. The history file is comprehensive and goes back to 1989. The vendor has warranted the mileage and we have 21 MOTs showing that this lovely car has covered less than 4000 miles since 1990.
