On the Surface: This beautiful example of a 1965 Daimler V8-250 is finished in Opalescent Dark Green exterior and complemented by a luxurious Beige leather interior. Owned by The Vendor for the last two years, this car was acquired by him from our Autumn Classic Car Auction in 2022. Originally supplied by Imperial Garages Blackpool to Mr. John C. Lowes on June 26, 1965.

Maintenance: This example has undergone light restoration and renovation in it’s previous ownership to ensure it remains in excellent condition. The work completed includes:

The service book features 14 stamps and one handwritten entry, recording mileage from 1,932 miles in 1965 to 43,592 miles in 1970. Additionally, the car is accompanied by invoices for completed work amounting to nearly £4,000, a copy of ‘The Driving Member’ magazine, and the coveted heritage certificate. This certificate confirms that the vehicle retains its original interior and exterior color combination and it is a matching numbers example.

The Model: The Daimler V8-250 is powered by a robust 2.5-litre V8 engine, the same powerhouse found in the Daimler SP-250. The V8 unit is paired with a Borg Warner type 35 automatic transmission. This engine produces approximately 140 bhp, a respectable output for the mid-60s, offering a blend of luxury and performance.
