On the Surface: This iconic 1967 Fiat 500 is finished in Teak Blue, perfectly contrasted against a Red interior. Maintenance & History: The Vendor tells us that recent restoration work has been carried out on this Fiat, including on the underside which is said to be in fantastic condition (see photos above). This Fiat 500 was imported to the UK in March 2021. Unfortunatley there is not any history with this Fiat, however, the V5 document is present. The Model: The original Fiat 500 was manufactured and marketed by Fiat Automobiles from 1957 until 1975. Known for its small size and practicality, it was available as a two-door semi-convertible or saloon car, and as a three-door panel van or estate car. Launched in July 1957 as the Nuova (new) 500, it succeeded the Fiat 500 “Topolino”. This model measures 2.97 meters in length and was originally powered by a rear-mounted 479 cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The Fiat 500 is celebrated as one of the first purpose-designed city cars, epitomizing economical and practical urban transportation.
