This car was purchased as a restoration project in 2017 after it was put into storage by the previous owner in 2013. This car has had a complete nut and bolt rebuild. It was taken apart and shot blasted back to bare metal. Any any patches were cut out and replaced with new panels. Parts replaced included: Bonnet, front panels, tank panel, front wings, doors, scuttle, dash, sills inner and outer, rear wings. The car was then primed and as at some point in its life the car had been painted red, it was returned to it’s original colour of Giallo Senape 278 as per the vin tag. The engine was fully rebuilt with new rings, bearings, camshaft and timing gear, gaskets and a gearbox overhaul. All tinwear was shot blasted and powder coated. New IMASAF sport exhaust. Steering and suspension rebuilt with all new bushes and steering arms/ joints, bearings, triangle rear arms, all new shocks, front leafspring refurb. New drums and shoes, new brake cylinders, master cylinder, brake pipes and hoses. New fuel tank and sender. Front and rear bumpers and overriders. RHD headlamps, all other lights/ switches new including new wiring loom and fuse box. Exterior trim including convertible top with window. Complete new interior trim, seats, door and carpet, new front seat foams, insulation, door and window rubbers. Powder coated wheels with new tyres.
the history file includes lots of service invoices plus the original service book (in Italian) plus invoices for parts used. The car is tax and MOT exempt however is does have an MOT until 09-08-2021 just for peace of mind.
It is worth noting this car had not long finished it’s restoration and has not yet been run in.
