Maintenance & History: This X1/9 VS has been owned by the current registered keeper since January 1992. In 1994 the car was transferred into the owner’s business and put into dry garage storage. After 30 years of dry storage this car has now been brought out into daylight again. The bodywork looks to be in good condition and there Vendor tells us there are no signs of rust. Despite it’s exterior condition the car has not been started, as the condition of key components like belts remains unknown as The Vendor did not want to cause mechanical damage to the car. We are told, however, that the engine has been tested and turns freely with a spanner.  With proper recommissioning, this car could return to roadworthy condition. Handily, it also comes with two sets of keys.
