Description:This is a very rare and desirable Capri 2.8i. Supplied new in 1984 by Edwards Brothers in Salisbury, the car was fitted with a Janspeed turbo charger kit and Janspeed 4 pot brakes bringing the total purchase invoice to £12,082.53 (included). When the vehicle was 9 months old, it was fitted with a Kat body kit at a cost of £1400. In 1986 she was fitted with a high performance suspension kit that cost £556. She produces 145 BHP at the rear wheels i.e approximately 190-200 BHP gross. Included in the history file are photo records of the restoration which was carried out 5-7 years ago, the original Edwards Brothers book pack and handbooks, lots of correspondence between a previous owner and Janspeed, service book with 5 stamps to 1987 and a few old MOTs. Auctioneers notes: I was very impressed when I went out to meet the vendor of this car, she does not appear to have belonged at any time to a boy racer. It is worth bearing in mind that the Jan-Speed mods were fitted by the supplying main agent in Salisbury at great cost.
