Description:This car was owned by the first keeper for 20 years. The mileage is believed to be correct as there are MOTs from 80’s and early 90’s, the car was then off the road for 10 years and returned to use in 2003. Original bill of sale included. Lots of money has been spent on the car including recent new Aldridge door cards fitted at a cost of £500. Auctioneers notes: The vendor has owned this car since 02/16 and the reason for selling is the fact that he has bought a new car and only has space for one. This Escort is out of the top draw with a good history file that includes 15 old MOTs, loads of invoices from 1989, the first MOT showing the mileage at 31,403 in 1986-2005 at 46,280 and then 2012 at 50,546 to 2017 at 51,950. The owner thinks the mileage is correct but there is not quite enough history to warrant it. Lots of old tax discs and spare key. Can be viewed from now by appointment. |
