Description:This Thunderbird (First Generation) is finished in metallic black with stunning red and cream trim. She was manufactured in 1956 and those old enough will remember the famous song by the Beach Boys, featuring the Thunderbird. These cars are fitted with a 292 cu in o.h.v. V8 driving through an automatic transmission. These cars were designed as a brisk luxury tourer and could hit 110 – 120 mph. Auctioneers notes: These two classics, i.e. the Chevrolet Coupe and the Ford Thunderbird have been entered into our classic auction by the vendor who is a private collector. He acquires his cars in the USA and only very, very good examples. His collection stands at over 30 cars at the moment, mostly fifties and pre-war American vehicles and Jaguar XK’s and E-types.
