Description:This is 1 car is from a collection of 14 cars entered into the auction from a private collector. This car was purchased by the current owner for his extensive collection of vehicles from another classic car enthusiast and is an absolutely stunning vehicle to boot. It is the most sort after MK11 model, as it has the 3.8 engine with manual gear box and overdrive. This car is of 1965 vintage and is believed genuine mileage of 53,104; the old English White livery is absolutely beautiful, with the deep red leather seats and carpets to match. It has painted wire wheels and chrome big eared spinners, also a thin white band set into the tyres which reduces the look of the profile. The interior is stunning in this colour, with the woodwork having a finish of distinction, typical of these British made cars from Jaguar. Everything works as it should, however the automatic choke has been changed for a manual switch for better efficiency in starting, although always on the button. The engine in this model fits snugly under the bonnet, but purrs away beautifully as a fine cat should. The car has benefited from a full service and is ready for a new loving owner. It has had various new water hoses fitted and also recently having a new ignition coil. The chrome on this car is very good indeed and the large leaping Jaguar on the bonnet sets it off. This particular cat is an absolute pleasure to drive and when doing so it will take you back to a time when things were more refined.
