This XJS is most unusual in having a 5 speed manual gearbox. There are two files of service invoices, labelled Jaguar bills 1991-2009, Jaguar bills 2009 onwards plus the service pack which includes 17 stamps all main agents plus 1 specialist. The car had a speedo change on 09/07/1991 when the odometer was reading 4999, this is stamped in the service book by Mann Egerton of Colchester. The file also contains original bill of sale to the vendor, letters from Jaguar Cars LTD Coventry and more, it makes a very good read. It is interesting to note that the first registered keeper was Mann Egerton and Co LTD of Colchester. This superb car may be viewed by appointment.

Auctioneers notes: What a pleasure to meet the vendor and his wife who is selling this truly fantastic Jaguar XJS due to his age, he will be 91 on his next birthday! He purchased the car on 06-02-1992 from the first owner. Whoever is lucky enough to buy this car will have a real gem.

It has come to light that the engine in this beautiful car is not a 3.6 lit but a slightly later 4 lit engine which is to its advantage.
