This Fantastic car has been entered by the third owner who purchased her in November 2002 when the car had covered a mere 25,792 miles from new. The car was registered on 2nd May 1987 which was just after the first major re-launch for the XJS which was originally put into production in 1976. The redesigned V12 engine included ‘fireball’ cylinder heads giving better fuel consumption and greater luxury trim. The history is one of the best we have ever seen including 22 service stamps, all books, production record trace (certificate no: 24032), and all MOT’s from May 1999. In November 1999 the car underwent a complete photographic restoration which can been seen in the history file.

This particular car was deemed so good that it was the actual XJS model used to make the Sony X-box game Forza Motorsport 6 computer game; it was professionally photographed from every conceivable angle, examples of the photographs used for the production of the game are included in the history file. As well as its computer game fame this XJS has also featured in and on the front page of the Jaguar enthusiasts club magazine and is a well-known car in the Warwickshire Jaguar owners club. Photographs at Jaguar HQ are also found in the history file.

In keeping with the excellent maintenance throughout its life, the car sits on four nearly new tyres that have probably covered less than 100 miles. The car has been garaged throughout its 29 years and it is with a very heavy heart that the current owner has decided to part with the car as it has been a no expense spared labour of love and this is firmly backed up by a history file that is almost second to none.
