Jaguar XK8 4.0L Convertible. Sapphire Blue with Ivory leather Interior, blue hood with ivory cover. Standard specification of the time with original telephone with hands free controls and Jaguar manuals, air con, cruise control, sports mode button, electric memory heated seats and steering wheel position, electric mirrors, 6 CD player, radio cassette with code, spare wheel set. New battery in 2017.

Service record book (part of original manual set) with services stamps showing main dealer 2003 & 2004, non dealer 2004 to 2008, then 2010 & 2011, then I believe MOT’d each anniversary except 2015 when registered as SORN (see attached print out). Minimum Oil & filter change at each anniversary since 2016 to date due to other work carried out in between.
Since Dec 2016 the following work/upgrades have been done by Indie and local garage, gearbox oil and filter service, latest timing & chain tensioners, guides & V V T’s fitted, Aluminium Water pump and thermostat housing fitted, ABS module terminals re-soldered, new wheel sensors fitted, new front brake discs and pads, new knock sensors fitted, rear wheel arches treated by professional shop for some corrosion and apply waxoil.

Auctioneers Notes

The vendor has owned this great looking XK8 Conv. since 2013.  It was supplied new by Grange Jaguar of Welwyn Garden City and she has come to the market purely due to lack of use.  The car comes with the original leather book pack which has 11 stamps in the service book plus pre-delivery inspection and all the other books.  In the invoice file, which is very comprehensive, for the past 5 years you will find the MOT history which starts in 2006.  All this adds up which indicates to me that the mileage is correct. The general condition of this car is in very good order and the interior, leather and walnut, is excellent for its age.  She may be viewed by appointment
