This car is an original RHD Rallye 1.3 HF in it’s original colours and trim. The car has not been restored but has been well maintained and was prepared for rallying by Richard Thorne in 2000. It was fitted with a roll -cage, extinguisher and other rally components to meet HSCC requirements. A rebuild of the engine was done in 2007 by DTR Sports cars in Mortlake, near Croydon and at the same time the 35mm Solex carbs were replaced with a 32mm Dellorto carbs as the old ones were unserviceable. The car has a steel chassis with aluminium doors, bonnet and boot. It has the original Perspex rear screen and quarter panels. All the panels are original and correct and the engine, although it has had some fettling, remains at 1300cc. The power core range of the engine is 3000 – 5000rpm. It has a sports exhaust fitted and included in the sale is a track day silencer to hold the dBs at 98dBs @4500 rpm. Since purchasing the car in 2011 the vendor has only serviced it and moved the petrol pump to the rear to avoid fuel surges. Runs on unleaded petrol with enhancers.
The car has been used regularly at the weekends and at Lancia track days (generally at Goodwood). The car is well known to the Lancia club and is thought to be one of only 2 that remain in the UK and the only RHD example. The vendor is the 5th owner of the car and the extensive history which is included in the car is summarised below:

First registered in 1967 and the original invoice is included in the documentation. It was purchased by J R Lees-Jones Esq from the Waterloo Carriage Company. Receipts and service information from the original owner are included in the documentation. The car, it is believed, was sold in 1984 and purchased by a Doctor B Miler who held onto the vehicle in 2000 when Mr Lloyd purchased the vehicle. He has the vehicle prepared for rallying with Richard Thorne and registered it with the Historic Sports Car Club. Unfortunately John was unable to use the car for rallying and sold the vehicle in 2005 to Mr Mustafa who kept the vehicle until the vendor purchased it in 2011. Mr Mustafa had the engine rebuilt by Italian sport car specialists DTR sports cars in Mortlake, London and had the car serviced regularly. Documentation is held for the vehicle from all 5 owners. Documentation also includes MOTS dating back to 1984.
