This was the most expensive production car of 78 in the USA twice the price of a Cadillac De Ville Sedan. Four new white walls tyres, new battery, all weather stripping replaced on doors windows moon roof etc, New Valino padded vinyl carriage roof and trunk arch. £8,000 spent to bring the Lincoln up to its now splendid condition. This vehicle is simply sublime to drive with its 406 7,400 litre engine Supplied with original owner drivers manual, Five volumes of work shop manuals covering not only the Lincoln but all Ford vehicles for 1978, plus large supplement brochure for the power moon roof, a good amount of history including original owners purchase details in hand book from Philadelphia dealer. The original 8 track is boxed and supplied with the car for those who wish to have the period look can easily be reinstalled. Recent new air con compressor fitted and gassed. |
