The vendor tell us it is with a heavy heart that he feels it is the right time to let this car go after some 27 years with his family. Purchased by the vendor’s father from Caffyns Mercedes Benz in Dorchester it was his retirement car and his pride and joy. At his time of purchase the mileage was just 4000 with one previous keeper. The vendor’s father passed away in 2010 and he has had the car since using it predominately during summer months. He tells us the car never fails to put a smile on his face and his only regret is that his father did not use the car as often as he would have liked due to ill health. The book pack contains 14 service stamps, the first 12 are all main dealer up to 2004 and the most recent two are Mercedes specialist. Also included in a folder are old MOTs, recent service and general maintenance invoices plus a letter detailing the car’s history signed by the vendor.

Auctioneers notes: This outstanding Mercedes Benz 190E was supplied new by Cars of Exeter in 1992 to a Mr. P Richards. She comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and has only covered 35,730 miles from new. The service book has 11 stamps, 9 are main agents and 2 are Mercedes specialists. She comes with a complete book pack and spare keys. The history file has approx all the old MOT’s and invoices
