Description from The Vendor: Bought in 2013 from an old friend, already in good condition, however, we had the car repainted in 2016. The car has had lots of new chrome and the seats were redone as well as a new hood being installed in 2011. This year the car has had new wheels and tyres in 2020.
Auctioneer’s notes: This 1981 (UK registered in ”94) Mercedes Benz 280 SL R 107 Roadster, has a straight-six 2.8 lit engine which gives good performance and benefits from a far better fuel economy than the V8’s. The vendor has owned her for the last 8 years and she comes with a number of invoices and there is one from the SL Shop for body panels etc. old MOT’s and she has spare keys.
