The iconic 500E car built by Mercedes in collaboration with Porsche at the Zuffenhausen factory. Approximately 10500 cars were built in the years 1991-1995. All were left hand drive. This example was built in 1992 destined for the USA and spent its early life in the state of Kansas. A copy of the USA pink slip and all the import documentation is with the car. The vehicle is rust free as a result of its time spent in a dry state and is mechanically in good condition having completed a run to the Mercedes Stuttgart Factory in September 2016 with the 500E club.
The vendor is a Mercedes enthusiast well known in club circles and the maintenance and condition is in line with this type of ownership. The car was imported into the UK on the 11th of September 2014 all import documentation is with the car and it is registered on a UK V5. A large history and maintenance file as well as two spare keys are with the vehicle. UK Service history is provided in a detailed folder. All recent service work including engine and gearbox fluid services and all filter changes including air conditioning service has been completed by the acknowledged 500E Guru Steve Olden of Three Pointed Star Mercedes Independent Specialists Bristol. The vehicle also has a complete Mercedes toolpouch.

PLEASE NOTE: The vendor has asked us to inform all perspective buyers that since advertising this vehicle, we have discovered that during its time in the US, the vehicle was involved in an accident and subject to a total loss payment twice, once in 2004 and again in 2009. The vehicle also had issues with mileage inconsistencies which started in 2009 when the odometer had reached 196,499. In 2010 the mileage goes back to 126,688.
