Description:Description from The Vendor: Bought from SWVA classic in July 2019 , and since then covered around 10,000 miles. She is upgraded with leather seats, electronic ignition, and a wire wheel conversion kit from ‘The MGB Hive’. She has been well cared for, with regular maintenance and replacement of various items, for example brake and clutch master cylinders, new servo, wheel bearings, and general servicing. The engine is an Ivor Searle unit, which has excellent oil pressure and runs well. The gearbox is smooth with fully functioning overdrive. A delight to drive, plenty of go, and a super soundtrack from the stainless exhaust. Current agreed valuation from Lancaster insurance of £7000.
Auctioneer’s notes: I like this car, she is an honest example of the ever popular MG B GT’s – not concourse but a very sound car. It is nice to see that all the gaps are as they should be. She sits well on those wire wheels and she has a very tidy interior which has been upgraded to leather upholstery.
