MG B Roadster 1972

Description:

This MG Roadster was built and registered on the 8^th of March l972, she is 45 years old and I think in remarkable condition.  She is finished in British racing green and black leather trim.  She is fitted with overdrive and sits on alloy wheels.  She has an excellent history file going back to the early nineties when a Mr. Crump took possession of her and took her to France where we believe the restoration took place and while he was there he had a km speedometer fitted and there is an invoice for a restoration, dated Feb. ’98 from Chez Limousin Charantes for over £3000. That owner was very particular in keeping all records.  This carried on to the next owner, a Mr. Fox from Bridport and his service records span from 09 –  014 including a large bill from Mike Rools MG Specialists.  The vendor acquired the car on 21. March ‘15 and he kept up the tradition of keeping all the invoices on money spent. By the way, the vendor is selling this lovely car only because he has purchased a brand new Harley Davidson.

Auctioneers Notes: These MG Roadsters are cracking good value for money and we are very pleased to be offering it for sale by auction.  All the gaps appear correct and the panels are straight and I think the finish on the paint is very good, and I can only reiterate that the past 3 owners have really looked after her.  There are also a dozen old tax discs from ’93 onwards.  She is here to be viewed, by appointment.
