In February, 2011, we swapped our MGB roadster for Buzz, as it has power steering, is easier to manage, more parts available and we wanted a newer MG.

The car comes with hard top, soft top with small repaired tear, windstop, tornneau cover, boot rack, parking cover, 2 keys and 3 blippers (no batteries in 2). One set of replacement bulbs.

The car is not perfect and would benefit from some TLC to the bodywork and a few replacements within the cab, but essentially, a very fast and reliable little car. The radio/CD player was removed a couple of years ago as did not work.

When new: 16” alloys with locking wheel nuts, Leather seats, Metallic paint. When the car came to us, the following updates/replacements had been done, as per the receipts in the box (in date order):

2005– New catalytic converter -replaced at 55,824 miles
2007 – New radiator
2008 – Head gasket – replaced at 67,706 miles

The car has had an annual service each year since we owned it and has been well maintained. Replacement headlights put in a few years ago. 2020 – Service, replacement coil, distributor and other related parts. Passenger window has not worked since we had the car, original interior mirror broken from the glass.

We have belonged to a local MG Owners club for over 12 years and have done many meetings and long distance events with them. We have replaced the battery twice in the past 2 years, as not done enough mileage (been SORNED for most of this year due to COVID) and are selling as we feel the car deserves to be driven to its potential.
