I acquired the vehicle from AJF Motors in February 2014 (60,213 miles) who are the only garage that I know that specialises in BMC cars, it was the personal vehicle of the owner. I had owned several new Maestros in the past and enjoyed driving them.
The bodywork was in a poor state so three doors and the tailgate were replaced and the car treaded for rust, wax oiled, new head linings, new exhaust and then carefully resprayed; any mechanical parts were replaced as needed at the time and new tyres fitted. As a matter of interest, it had the original tyres still fitted.
Some of the additional work done were; replacement of wipers, bottle and pump shocks and coils new windscreen door switches wheel bearings ignition set, plugs and ht cap (fitted by SWVA this October) £786 spent in September 2021 on misc bits. Current mileage 78,106.

This 1987 MG Maestro 2.0 EFI, the vendor has owned this excellent example of this fast appreciating MG since February 2014.  They are exciting cars to drive having 113 BHP and can reach 62 mph in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 113 mph and to harness this power you have ventilated disc brakes on the front, so they go well and stop well.  Excellent history file, old MOT’s back to ’92, invoices from the beginning of this century – these cars are getting very rare.  May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
