The MG F is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive roadster that was first introduced to the market in September 1995. It was the first new model designed as an MG since the MGB which had ceased production in 1980.

From the beginning the MGF was hugely popular receiving praise for its excellent ride characteristics and handling, quickly attaining the top spot in Britain for affordable sports cars and remained there until the introduction of its replacement, the MG TF in 2002.

S363 CWS is a fine example of a MK1 MGF, produced by the Rover/BMW group. It has a smooth running and clean revving 1.8 litre mid mounted K Series engine rated at 120 hp. Body and Nightfire Red paintwork are in all round good condition with no major rust issues, the sub-frames are also in good order.

The car benefits from newly fitted Avon ZV tyres all round, recently replaced Hydragas spheres and the under-body coolant pipes upgraded to stainless steel items. The interior is clean and tidy with good condition cream leather seats, the contrasting dark blue drop top hood is also in good serviceable order, with nice rear window.

The large service history that accompanies the car shews much money has been spent over the years to maintain her in good order, this includes bills for timing belt replacement, new cylinder head and head gasket.

A lovely useable modern classic that is great fun to drive and comes with an MOT till November 2022. All set for top down summer motoring.
