Description:Description from The Vendor: Acquired in May 2007 from Barrie Carter as per his advert cutting in the history file which explains all the relevant details. Substantial amounts have been spent on re-chroming, the windscreen frame, and various wiring pieces (Bills can be viewed in the history file) I would point out that the side panels require an adjustment to the fittings, however, the hood and tonneau are okay. The car has always been stored in a heated garage.
Auctioneer’s notes: This superb TD was acquired by the vendor in 2007. He purchased the car from Barrie Carter, well-known in the MG circles and he undertook a body of restoration and the car was finished in BRG with red leather interior and she also had a new beige hood and tonneau. Mechanically, the car was fully checked out and and any worn parts were replaced with new parts and at the same time a 5-speed gear box was fitted, stainless steel exhaust and a alloyed rocker box cover. The mileage shown on the speedometer is the total mileage since the restoration and this mileage reads 3550 backed up by all the MOT’s. You will also find a file of invoices and useful books including a workshop manual. This cracking car may be viewed strictly by appointment. |
