Description:Originally a North American car, this MG was imported to the UK in 1989 by Carisma Cars of Surrey after spending time in Florida with its then owner Mr Butler. In 1989 the car was purchased by Brian Barnett of Tadworth who it is understood converted the car to RHD and had new upholstery and trim fitted, new wire wheels, new stainless steel exhaust and a new hood. The car moved on in 1993 to a Mr Anthony Spender of Wiltshire who it is understood fitted a rebuilt replacement engine “XPEG506” along with a new clutch and rebuilt gearbox. It is believed the car then went over to France where the current keeper lives. History file includes lots of invoices and correspondence Is currently registered in France. Will need to be UK registered, vehicle has been NOVA’d. |
