|1937||Morris||8||72,582 (Not Warranted)||£6650.00 + buyers premium|
This delightful Morris 8 is finished in two-tone, burgundy over black with read leather upholstery. She benefits from a sunshine roof, opening front windscreen and “easy clean” wheels. There are invoices for retrimming in leather for £1300 and overhaul of the gear box including new clutch and UJ’s for £1189.00 carried out in 2014. See appendix listed by the vendor.
Auctioneers notes: This car is only coming to the market due to ill health in the family. The vendor has owned the car for 4 years. There is little known early history, but a MOT issued in 3/13 (with no advisories) mileage 71462 shows no previous MOT’s listed which suggests she was laid up possibly for a considerable time and that the restoration was carried out probably between 2012/2014. She is crying out for somebody to use and love her. Sadly, there is no paperwork to back up my theory, but I think you will agree with me when you see her that whoever carried out this restoration really new his business. Please view,but make an appointment first please.
