Description:Description from The Vendor: The Moggy has mechanically been completely restored, backed up on a memory stick and receipts. The engine was removed, the body shell completely restored and removed and resprayed. New brakes system replaced and tyres, all ball joints and steering replaced, suspension included. The engine has been serviced and parts were replaced as required. Upholstery has also been replaced including the carpets. No expense has been spared in restoring this Morris Minor, all work is documented in receipts and on the memory.
Auctioneer’s notes: There is only one way to describe this car FANTASTIC. The vendor says “no expense has been spared”. If possible, this is an understatement! I note she has a twin carb conversion and a little extra power, I think, is an acceptable upgrade. These cars were designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, who went on to design the iconic mini. Incidentally, he joined Morris Motor Company in 1935. This outstanding car may be viewed strictly by appointment. |
